Gloves by Beee • January 8, 2013 Accept it, you will fall/crash and most likely more than once. Gloves will protect the skin of your hands being grazed off when you hit the pavement. Stand up If you’re a stand up rider and you know how to slide, you will most likely be wearing gloves which have sliding pucks on them, which give you the ability to slide across the pavement on your hands to create more stability, without your gloves being damaged. Street luge You need strong gloves, preferably with reinforced finger tips/palms, since you’re pushing off with your hands. Also recommendable is wearing gloves with knucklesavers (as shown in the photo, but without the pucks of course).
